AHMEDABAD, June 3: Snow fall in the sweltering heat of Ahmedabad, a 410 feet long winding water ride, artificially created rain storms with a natural rainbow peeking through it, a 40 feet waterfall, swinging bridge across a green valley and a seemingly endless road winding through the green ghats of a lush countryside! These are just some of the attractions at the newly constructed Swapna Srushti water park on the outskirts of the city.

The Rs 11 crore water park, completed at the end of May is about 35 km from Ahmedabad, on the Gandhinagar-Mahudi Highway, on the banks of Sabarmati river. Chairman of Gauraj Builders amp; Developers Prof Prahlad Patel told a press gathering this evening that for the first time in the world an amusement park has made a 40 feet artificial rock mountain that spurts snow flakes through indigenous ice crushing machines.

The second attraction was the 410-feet long Mississipy Water Ride, which started on land and ended with a splash in a cave pool of water 8212; the longest of its kind in the world. The park, spread over 90 acres of land, will soon add to its collection a Dolphinarium for which two dolphins will be imported from Mauritius. A rope way across the two km width of Sabarmati is also in the offing. While the rope way should be operation in six months time, Patel said that the Dolphinarium would be ready in two years.
