Two rockets fired from across the LoC creates panic

Panic was created in Brachar area of Swajian sub-sector in Poonch district on Monday when two rockets, fired from across the Line of Control, exploded with a big bang, official sources said in Poonch.

Two rockets fired from a Rocket Propelled Gun landed at Brachar in Swajian sector in this border district around 2.20 pm on Monday and exploded with a bang, they said, adding the explosions caused panic among the villagers.

However, there was no loss of life or injury caused in the explosions, they said.

The rockets were fired from near an NPP post across the LoC. However, Indian troops maintained restraint and did not retaliate.
