NEW DELHI, May 11: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vijai Kapoor has announced that the DVB will provide two more breakdown vans, as opposed to the existing one in each district.
In a meeting with the Delhi Chief Secretary, NDMC chairperson, DVB chairman, Delhi Water Board CEO, deputy commissioners and sub-divisional magistrates, the LG said additional vans would reduce the response time of the DVB in attending complaints and local faults. The total number of breakdown vans of the DVB, equipped with wireless sets, has increased from 29 to 70 and the number will be further go up to 87, he added. He directed the DVB officials to rationalise the distribution of power supply in deficit8217; areas through proper load management.
