CHANDIGARH, March 3: Two Residents of Bapu Dham Colony 8212; Gokal Chand and Ashan, have been arrested for allegedly carrying 12 cases of whiskey in a three-wheeler. A case has been registered under Excise Act.
Meanwhile, a Sector 42 resident, Shakti Lohi, has reported that she has been cheated in purchase of a house by Nanak Singh. She alleged that he first sold her the house and then got the deal cancelled in connivance with Parminder Kaur, president and secretary of Haryana Teachers and Employees Welfare Housing Society. A case of cheating has been registered.
In another case, Tarsem Lal of Sector 44 reported that Devinder Singh of sector 19, Kulwant Singh and Baljinder Singh have forged documents to transfer the ownership of his house to their name. A cheating case has been registered.
