Two held for playing satta

PANCHKULA, MARCH 1: The district police have arrested two persons for indulging in satta near Kalka. The accused have been identified as Tilak Raj Malhotra and Jitender Kumar, both residents of Kalka.

Sources said that the duo were caught red-handed and Rs 240 were recovered from Jitender while Rs 190 were recovered from Malhotra. Separate cases have been registered against them.

12 liquor bottles recovered Twelve bottles of country made liquor were recovered from a Raipur Rani resident, identified as Charan Singh by the Panchkula Police. The accused has been arrested and a case under the Excise Act has been registered. Further investigations are on.
