A man was injured after being shot at during an attempted robbery in Northeast Delhi’s Jafrabad on Tuesday, police said. The incident was reported during the afternoon hours, following which a team rushed to the spot on Brahmpuri Road, they also said.
The injured man, in his complaint filed at Jafrabad police station, alleged that when he was passing through a lane, two unidentified men attempted to snatch his mobile phone. When he resisted, one of the assailants fired a shot before both fled.
The man was rushed to Jag Pravesh Chandra (JPC) Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. His condition was stated to be stable, police said.
