Two drowned at Kovalam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Dec 25: Two tourists from Karnataka, Sreedevi 55 and Vasudeva Moorthy 57, were drowned at the Kovalam sea while taking a pleasure trip in an out-board engine-powered fishing boat. According to sources, the boat with the tourists on board capsized at mid-sea. Though another boat rushed to the spot and hauled the tourists out of the water, two were in a very serious condition by the time they were brought ashore. They later died at the hospital.
