Two Cong leaders deny joining AISAD

SAS NAGAR, Aug 25: Two Congress leaders today categorically denied of having joined All India Shiromani Akali Dal. Presenting them before the mediapersons, the block president of the Congress, Jaswinder Singh Kaka, said that the two leaders, when summoned in a meeting, expressed loyalty to the Congress party and denied having joined the AISAD.

Chandigarh: Rashtriya Raksha Dal nominee Col Harsharan Singh retd today interacted with the people and local leaders in sectors 27 and 28. He raised issues concerning the armed forces, stressed upon the need for the upliftment of the city and its environs. Referring to the poor state of affairs in the city, he said that typical of the politico-bureaucratic combine, the responsibilities of providing basic civic amenities are being passed from the administration to the municipal corporation and vice versa.

He added that what is required is a sense of responsibility, discipline and commitment, which only the armed forces can provide.
