
The BJP has chalked out a eight-point campaign programme to expose the UPA government during the next Parliamentary polls which according to the party is imminent in 2008.
8220;The election is imminent in 2008. The truce between Congress and Left parties is a temporary one. The break in their fight is just a commercial break to take care of their commercial interests,8221; senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu, said in Panaji.
He said that the party has eight vital issues on the card that would figure in its election campaign, including crucial Ramsethu row, he said.
8220;By questioning the faith in Ram, the UPA government has touched the sentiments of crores of people. They will have to pay price for it,8221; Naidu added.
Listing out seven other issues, the former BJP president said that price hike, agrarian crisis, growing unemployment, insecurity in the country, appeasement politics, development and stability would be the main issues for the party for the mid-term poll.
8220;There is growing insecurity within the country which is visible with the series of attacks. UPA is silent and militants are violent,8221; he said.
