CHANDIGARH, Dec 9: Trials to select Chandigarh Schools team in different disciplines of sports in various age group will begin from December 11, under the aegis of the Chandigarh Education Department. The selected teams would take part in the forthcoming National School Games.
The wrestling u-14, u-17, u-19 and judo u-14, u-17, u-19 trials for boys will be held on December 11 at 2.30 p.m., at Labour hall in Sector 30 and Sports Complex in Sector 42, respectively.
Judo u-14, u-17, u-19 trials for girls will be held on December 12 at 2.30 p.m., Sector 42 Sports Complex.
Hockey boys and girls trials will be conducted on December 11 and 12 at 2.30 p.m, at Hockey Stadium, Sector 18.
The cricket trials for Vinoo Mankad Trophy in boys section u-16 will be held on December 11 at Government Model School-32 at 2.30 p.m., while in the under-19 boys it will be held on December 15 at GMSS-23.
Softball boys and girls u-19 trials will be held on December 18 and 19, respectively at GHS-11.
Handball boys and girls u-14 selection trials will be held on December 18 and 19 at GMSS-23.
Hockey u-14 at Hockey Stadium on December 21, football u-14 at Football Stadium in Sector 17 on December 23.
Volleyball boys trials will be held at Sector 7 Sports Complex on December 18, 19 and 21, respectively.
In the girls section the trials will begin on December 22 at the same venue.
