CHANDIGARH, May 26: A resident of Palsora village and his two sons, accused of house-trespass, causing hurt and criminal intimidation, were directed to pay Rs 1,000 each as compensation to the complainant and his wife by UT Judicial Magistrate (Ist Class) Sanjiv Kumar, here today.Releasing the convicts, Roshan Lal, Vijay Kumar and Kamlesh Singh, on six months' probation, the magistrate also directed them to furnish personal bonds of Rs 10,000 each along with sureties of the like amount. They were further directed to pay Rs 200 each as the cost of proceedings.The trio were earlier booked by the Chandigarh Police under Sections 452, 506, 323 and 34 of the IPC on neighbour Jagdish Singh's complaint.He had alleged that the accused had beaten him up after they forcibly entered his house on June 27, 1995 for demolishing the common wall. His wife, Savitri Devi, had also been dragged by her hair and thrashed, the complainant had added.Arguing before the magistrate, Assistant District Attorney Rajinder Kumar had stated that the accused had visited the house a day earlier demanding payment for the wall after threatening the wife and two daughters with dire consequences.The defence counsel had added that the accused had been attacked and injured by the complainant on June 26, 1995.
