Rukbanur8217;s statement came following media reports that money had changed hands between the family members of Rizwanur and the Todis.

8220;This is a conspiracy by those who do not want the truth to come out,8221; he said adding that he was satisfied with the CBI investigation.

8220;We don8217;t think that any CBI officer has said this and it was fabricated by a section of the media,8221; he said.

Replying to a question he said, CBI has not asked for details of his bank account.

To another question whether the CBI was investigating his uncle8217;s bank account, he said, 8220;We don8217;t know.8221;

Meanwhile, CBI Joint Director Arun Kumar refused to add anything on the allegations, saying, 8220;Apart from that the checking of the bank accounts of the family members I can8217;t say anything.8221;

The CBI on Thursday checked the bank transactions of relatives of Rizwanur amid allegations that money changed hands.
