PALAKKAD, MAY 7 Defending champion Pallavi Shah, Swati Ghate and S Sujatha shared the lead, with four points each, after the completion of the fifth round in the seventh National Junior Under-18 Girls Chess Championship here on Tuesday.

Results: 5th round: Swati Ghate 4 drew with R Arthi 3.5, K Aswini Mah 3 lost to Pallavi Shah 4, Nisha Mohota 3.5 drew with Neha Singh 3.5, S Sujatha 4 bt Aswini Pachpurkar 2.5, P L Sivakami 3.5 bt J E Kavitha 2, K Humpy 3 bt Chitra Sridhar 2, G Ramyashree 2 lost to Manasi Dadarkar 3, B Parek 2.5 drew with H Oamar 2.5.
