MUMBAI, June 24: In a fresh lot of transfers in the police department, Deputy Commissioner of Police A K Dhamija has been transferred as DCP/SP Anti Corruption Bureau, Mumbai. Dhamija replaces P M Shegaonkar, who has been transferred as DCP Aurangabad. S R Kapse, DCP Navi Mumbai takes over as Director Enforcement and Vigilance, State Excise, Mumbai. Other transfers are Rajendra Singh, S V Date and K L Bishnoi, who are Superintendents of Police Ratnagiri, Bhandara and Akola respectively, will now function as DCPs in Mumbai. Jawahar Singh will be Commandant, SRPF, Navi Mumbai, while P S Tayade will be Principal, PTS, Marol in Mumbai.
