Three killed as PMT bus, tempo collide

PUNE, May 25: Three men were killed in an accident on NDA road on Monday afternoon when their tempo dashed against a PMT bus. The tempo, which was on its way toward Ganeshkhind Road met with a head-on collision with a PMT bus Route No. 109, coming from the opposite direction. According to the Chatuhshringi police, Santosh Kadam 21 of Vadgaon and another person whose identity is yet to be ascertained were killed on the spot.

The third occupant of the tempo, Rameshwar Chandrakant Washekar 21 succumbed to his injuries after battling for his life at Sassoon Hospital later in the day. The driver of the PMT bus, Baban Sonaji Shirke has been detained by the Chatuhshringi police, but were yet register a case till late in the evening.
