NEW DELHI, JULY 14: Three shuttlers reached the third round in boys8217; singles on a mixed day for India in the Asian Junior Badminton Championships at Yangoon, Mayanmar today.

In girl8217;s singles, B Vahini made the second round after getting a walk-over from Wong Miew Kheng of Malaysia. A Prithvi, Indian number two, joined team-mates Abhishek Bakshi and V Diju in the third round.

But Pallav Kumar Deka lost to Thailand8217;s T U Manawat 15-9, 12-15, 14-17 in a second round clash.

India lost 2-3 to Singapore in the second round of the boys8217; team championship.

Boys8217; singles second round: V Diju Ind bt Lee Seung Yoon SKorea 15-9, 15-13; Abhishek Bakshi Ind bt Liao Sheng Shiun Tpe 15-13, 8-15, 15-6; Pallav Kumar Deka Ind lost to Manawat Tu Thailand 9-15, 15-12, 14-17; A Prithvi Ind bt Tarek Cha Syria 15-1, 15-3; Lee Jae Jin S Korea bt Kohei Hayasaka Japan 12-15, 15-9, 15-10; Bobby Santosa Ina bt Kapil C Bhutan 15-4, 15-0.
