NEW DELHI, April 2: Korea’s Park No-Seok and Brian Quinn of the US overcame difficult weather conditions to lead after the first round of the US $ 200,000 APGA Orient Masters golf tournament in Xiamen, China. The duo scored two under par 70 and were one stroke ahead of a six-player bunch at 71.

Park, winner of the Philip Morris Cup last year, played in the same group as Boonchu Ruangkit of Thailand and American Mike Cunning, last year’s topper in Order of Merit. Three Indians Amritinder Singh, Arjun Atwal and Amandeep Johl shot two over 74 for the first round. Tournament favourite Zhang Lian-wei also went two over for a round of 74.
