PUNE, Sept 30: Three persons, one of them a history-sheeter from Aurangabad, have been arrested by the Yerawada police for the murder of a 24-year-old employee of the High Explosive Factory, Khadki.
Vyankatesh Prakashan alias Wilfred Unjeri, Rajendra Shankar Pillai alias Nayadu and Pravin alias Pappu Krishna Sinha allegedly hacked to death Sandip Uttam Galande near the compound wall of the Bombay Engineering and Group on July 6 night.
Preliminary investigation shows that the murder was a fallout of a dispute between Galande and his friend Unjeri over some money matters. Their relations were strained because Unjeri had refused to repay the money he had borrowed from Galande, they added.
