Three former Union ministers in TMC list

CHENNAI, Aug 12: Three former Union ministers P Chidambaram, S R Balasubramaniam and Dhanushkodi Adithan and Pondicherry Home Minister P Kannan figure in the TMC8217;s heavy weight8217; first list of 14 candidates.

The second list would be released after the TMC concluded talks with the poll partners, party president G K Moopanar said at a crowded media conference on Wednesday.

The TMC8217;s first list has three sitting MPs, eight former MPs and three sitting MLAs.

The second list of candidates would include representatives of parties like Janata Dal Secular, Indian Union Muslim League, RPI, BSP, Human Rights Party of India, Dalit Panthers and Pudhiya Tamizhagam, among others.
