CHANDIGARH, Sept 7: Former chief administrator of the Haryana Housing Board, besides the then chief engineer and the then acting executive engineer, have been booked by the Panchkula Police for allegedly allotting work to their favourite firms.

According to sources, IAS officer J.P. Rattan, D.P. Gupta and S.B. Kumar, charged with allocating projects worth Rs 4.50 crore at a single offer, without inviting tenders, have been booked under Section 409, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, along with Section 13 2 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
