Three arrested for eve-teasing in Sec 11

The three have been arrested under Section 294 of IPC. Nine held for riotingn THE police have arrested nine persons for alleged rioting and forcibly trying to take away a woman in Kajheri village last evening. Those arrested are Dharam Pal, Bhupinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Kishan, Surinder Singh, Sunita Devi, Krishna Devi, Shakuntala Devi and Chand, all of them are residents of Sangrur district. They have been held under Section 147, 148, 149, 342, 323 and 365 of the IPC of the Indian penal code.

Police said they were arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by Sibbo after these persons allegedly came to her home in Kajheri and started quarreling over a property within the family. They allegedly wanted to take the woman away.
