Threatening calls

CHANDIGARH, Jan 27: A woman accused of making threatening calls to a lady PCS officer and her family here was remanded to police custody till January 29 by the UT Judicial Magistrate Ist Class K.C. Garg today. Kamaljeet Kaur, alias Kamla, a resident of Jalandhar, was booked after the telecom department placed the PCS officer8217;s telephone under surveillance on her husband, P.S. Khera8217;s complaint.

The family resides in Sector 19. The public prosecutor, P.K. Kundra said the complainant was also threatened by Kamla during her visit to the former8217;s house in May last year.
