Shalom, the Mediterranean lounge bar and restaurant in Greater Kailash-I, N-Block Market had a fifth birthday party, with a difference. Owner Dhiraj Arora brought in four young artists to light up the pale white corners of the lounge with funky brush strokes. On Tuesday night, artists Shifali Mehra, Pushkar Thakur, Niki Duggal and Harish Kumar brought out their creativity with installations and canvasses. In attendance were designers Suneet Varma, Shantanu and Nikhil, Manish Arora and Aparna Chandra air kissing and giggling over tulips of bubbly whites and reds. Also spotted were cricketer Mohammad Kaif and sitarist Anoushka Shankar.
