West Indian Kieron Pollard and Kenya8217;s Rajesh Bhudia are the only two players who are yet to play in a limited overs international match. They will make their one-day international debut during the World Cup tournament.

The eight edition of the World Cup had witnessed 252 matches with as many as 186 players making their limited overs international debut. The inaugural World Cup played in nbsp;England in 1975 had the most newcomers, 39 and the last edition played in South Africa four years ago had 32, the second highest tally.

India haven8217;t had a debutant in any of the last three World Cup tournaments. Ajay Jadeja was the last India who made his limited overs international debut in World Cup. He played his first match in instant cricket against Sri Lanka at Mackay on February 28,1992 in 1992 World Cup played jointly in Australia and New Zealand. The entire Namibian and Canadian teams made their debut in the last World Cup in South Africa.
