In a major headway in the case, the Kerala Police
on Saturday arrested 24-year-old Muhammed Faizal, who reportedly played a crucial role in recruiting youths into militancy in the state. Among the killed militants from Kerala, Muhammed Faiz and Muhammed Fayas were allegedly roped in

Intelligence sources said Faizal, a native of Kannur, had admitted to luring youths into militancy and had close contacts with PoK-based terror groups. 8220;Faizal has already revealed the names of four persons whom he had send to Kashmir. Youths were taken out of Kerala under the pretext of offering jobs in metros or enrolling in religious learning centres,8221; sources said.
He reportedly travelled with Fayas and Faiz till Hyderabad, after which the men were passed to someone else, before being taken to Kashmir. Sources hope to crack the entire network by discovering this Hyderabad link.
