Former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto on Monday said the Government had held discussions with her on forming a caretaker Government as a precursor to the upcoming general elections. But there had been no parleys on choosing the head of the interim set-up, she added.

As she wrapped up a three-day visit to her ancestral home and political stronghold in southern Sindh province, the PPP chairperson urged President Pervez Musharraf to consult all major political parties before deciding on the formation of a caretaker Government.
