CHANDIGARH, May 29: Well-known hindi writer, Swadesh Deepak, will read his play, Kaal Kothri at Tagore Theatre at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Deepak, who hails from Ambala, is the author of seven short story collections, two novels and four plays. His play, `Court Martial’ has been much-acclaimed and had been staged by veterans like Ranjit Kapoor, Usha Ganguly and Nadira Babbar. Kaal Kothri deals with the theatre world itself for, according to the playwright, an actor is imprisoned in that world wherein he has to live many lives. The play-reading session is being organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Haryana Government.
