Supply hit

PUNE, May 12: Water supply to Kothrud, Karvenagar, Paud Road, Gokhalenagar, Bopodi, Khadki and all other areas being supplied water from the SNDT and the Chatuhshrungi tank was severely disrupted this evening.

The water main from Parvati water works PWW to the SNDT water tank breached at the PWW premises this afternoon. A power cut at the PWW8217;s SNDT zone before the breach had already affected the water storage at the SNDT tanks.

PMC officials said that supply would be normalised by tomorrow morning.
