
VADODARA, March 29: The 22 students of the Faculty of Commerce of the M S University, whose admissions were affected due to a student union leader8217;s fault have decided to meet the members of the Senate before their annual meeting on Tuesday and demand action against the leader.
According to the students, as they had lost a year due to Jigar Inamdar8217;s fault, the university should take some action against him.
One of the student said that though Inamdar had returned the money he did not assure them of pursuing the authorities to look into the case. 8220;Just because he has given a written apology to the Syndicate members does not mean that he can be excused,8221; the student added.
It may be recalled that this issue was taken up at the recent Syndicate meeting. But while the Syndicate members could not arrive at any conclusion, Vice-Chancellor Anil Kane said that it was up to the Syndicate to look into the matter.
