A student of Plus One in Bhuchho has been arrested for allegedly filming obscene video of his girlfriend, a student of Class X, after "administering" her an intoxicant. DSP (Rural) Joginder Singh said Preet Kanwal Singh, who is the son of a Junior Engineer in Lehra Mohabbat Thermal Plant, allegedly placed the obscene MMS online and circulated its CDs. The girl's father, who runs a shop in Lehra Mohabbat, claimed that the family came to know of the MMS after the girl jumped off the roof of the house in mid-September and had to be hospitalised. He said his daughter and the accused were friends and used to travel in the same bus to school. While Preet Kanwal or any of his family members could not be contacted, the DSP said a case was registered after a complaint was lodged, accusing the boy of "repeatedly raping" the "victim" and making her obscene video.
