Bollywood is full of irony. Friends or foes, hit and misses or names and games 8212; the ups and downs rival the Bombay stock exchange sensex. Here8217;s a quick round-up of what8217;s happening 8212; this week:

  • Rekha is playing a character Mrs Britannia in the forthcoming film Mother 8217;98. She makes up the name in a hurry when asked for her husband8217;s name. A packet of Britannia biscuits nearby lends inspiration.
  • Baba Sehgal, the rap singer, has now decided to diversify. Besides pop albums, he has now decided to give scores to films as music director. Ask Anu Malik what he thinks? He must be insecure now that another copycat has jumped into the fray.
  • Everyone was excited about the song picturised on Urmila Matondkar for Chhota Chetan. Ironically, the original song 8212; shot on the three children 8212; has ended up as more popular.
  • Arshad Warsi and Chandrachur Singh are not the best of friends anymore. God alone knows what happened but from raving about each other in interviews, they have just driftedapart. And a strangely silent about each other.
