Speaker leaves for Germany

Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Saturday left for Germany on a six-day visit where he will hold discussions with German leaders.

Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Saturday left for Germany on a six-day visit where he will hold discussions with German leaders. Chatterjee, who is leading a nine-member parliamentary delegation, will unveil Mahatma Gandhi8217;s bust in Bundestag, the German Parliament. During his stay till June 30, the delegation will also visit Hannover, besides Berlin and hold talks with Federal President Horst Kohler and Chancellor Angela Merkel.
