Spain defeated Germany 2-1 and the Czech Republic beat Belgium by the same score in round-robin play at the Arag World Team Cup on Wednesday. David Ferrer put Spain ahead and Nicolas Almagro secured victory. Tomas Berdych put the Czech ahead before Jan Hajek made it 2-0. Rochus and Steve Darcis earned a consolation.
