Sonia said revamping of the party organisation might take some time but it was her first priority. She sought to assure the party workers that their problems would be addressed and their grievances removed.

Gandhi said her daughter Priyanka would later visit Amethi and hold discussions with the people regarding developmental schemes for the constituency.
