Smita Patil award for Chavan, Pendse

NAGPUR, DEC 5: Social worker from Melghat Shewantabai Chavan and a pioneer in the children8217;s stage movement Sanjay Pendse will be presented with the annual Late Smita Patil Memorial Award instituted by Manav Mandir, a city-based social organisation.

The award will be presented in recognition of the contribution of the two personalities in their respective fields. The award includes Rs 5,000 in cash and a memento to be presented at a function on December 14.
