New Delhi, June 26: Six telecom employees’ unions on Monday announced their resolve to go ahead with the proposed one-day strike on Wednesday against corporatisation of Department of Telecom Services despite the officers’ associations and two other unions deciding to withdraw from the move.A joint statement by six unions of Group C and D employees said they would go ahead with the strike.
Meanwhile, four organisations two officers associations and two employees unions said they have withdrawn from the strike considering the request by Communications Minister Ramvilas Paswan while annoucing the bifurcation of Department of Telecom Services into two entities on Sunday.
