Six arrested for violence at Bawamanpur

The Panigate police have arrested six people in connection with a communal violence that occurred at Bawamanpura on Monday, in which four persons were injured.

The arrested include Mitesh Valand, Vikash Thakore, Dushyant Dalvi, Imran Rana, Aashiq Shiekh and Riyaz Kelawala, the police said, adding that a complaint in this regard was filed by a State Reserve Police SRP constable, Rajaram Jadav. The incident occurred when some cattle started running around the Bawamanpura locality around 8.25 pm on Monday. Following this, people from two communities resorted to stone pelting at each other.
