Ambassador Sky Chief won the third Khazan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament defeating Krishi Export, Varanasi by 14 runs at the Paschim Vihar sports complex .

Brief Scores: Ambassador Sky Chief 113 in 20 overs (Rajender Bisht 36, K L Rana 17, Yogendra Khar 16, Vishal Singh Yadav 2 for 16, Sumit Dogra 2 for 16 and Amit Bhandari 2 for 29) beat Krishi Export, Varanasi: 99 in 19.5 overs (Yogesh Sharma 29, Sumit Dogra 27, Ajit Singh 17, Dinesh Yadav 3 for 14, Mohd Atiq 2 for 16 and K.S Rana 2 for 16).

Delhi boys win gold
The Delhi boys under 19 table tennis team won the gold medal at the recently concluded National School Games held at Patiala. In the final, Delhi defeated Punjab 3-1. B. Sidharth (Don Bosco) defeated Munish Bharadwaj of Punjab 21-16, 21-12, Karan Sachdeva beat Aditya 15-21, 21-8, 21-14, Vijit Bedi lost to Janak Raj 16-21, 21-16, 14-21 but beat Munish Bharadwaj 21-10, 21-18. In the individual category, B.Sidharth won the bronze medal defeating Machiket Joshi of Maharashtra 21-14, 25-23.

New Sports invited
New Sports Club, Delhi has been invited to take part in the Coppersmith Cricket Tournament to be held at Colorado, USA from July 3 . The team which will be captained by Atul Wassan consists of Rajesh Chauhan, Venkatapathi Raju, Rajinder Gambhir, Rakesh Handa, Ashwani Sood, Sandeep Garg, Jagdep Deol, Gurdeep Singh, Naveen Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Joyati Pandhir, Gurpreet Singh, Manjinder Singh, Bhupesh Sangar and Rajey Parihar.

Ashutosh wins
Ashutosh Singh defeated Vivian Chhetri 6-1, 6-4 to win the boys under-18 title of the Punjabi Bagh Club Delhi State Summer Circuit tennis. In the under-14 category, Ankit Raj triumphed over Mayank Tyagi 7-6 *8-6), 7-5 while Yuvraj beat Vivek Shokeen 6-2, 6-0 in the under-12 group. In the girl’s under-18 section, Vishika Chhetri ousted Neha Phalpher 6-1, 6-2 to win the title while Monika Goel defeated Neha Phalpher 7-5, 6-2 in under-14.

Neeraj Chawla of Delhi under-19 player has been selected for the All India junior cricket camp for Under-19 boys being held at Bangalore from June 15 to July 4, 1998.
