Amit excels
A fine 135 and a four-wicket haul by Amit Singh helped Mod Showers, CR Park, ease past Young Stars by four wickets in a first round match of the Indo-Asian Trophy Nehru Cricket Tournament at Kalkaji today. Opting to bat first, Young Stars were bowled out for 207, with Anil Balwal 58 being the main contributor. Amit Singh bowled well to pick up four for 28.

Needing victory in 40 overs, Mod Showers won with four wickets to spare, with Amit studding his century with six sixes and 12 fours.
