India will be wiped out 0-3: JY Lele
"We will be wiped out 0-3," said Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary JY Lele while expressing his unhappiness with the composition of the team for the Australia tour. When asked whether he was happy with the squad, Lele told Rediff Net: "No. I am not. Ajay Jadeja and Ajit Agarkar should not be in the side for Tests.". "Ajay is a utility player. He is not a Test player," he added. On Agarkar, he said: "Forget about his performance. Can he promise that he will not break down again. Twice he has done it to us now. He is so delicate. I wonder what he will do there," he added.

Bhupathi pulls out
Mahesh Bhupathi is done with tennis for this century. India `A’ draw

Punjab top NZ
Punjab topped the North Zone Ranji Trophy league table with 34 points after bagging five points from their drawn four-day match against Haryana at Gurgaon. Punjab finished ahead of Delhi (32) and Haryana who took their tally to 27 after clinching three from this game. All the three sides have thus qualified for the Super League which starts in February next.
