Early blows haunt West Indies
Steve Waugh fell one run short of a double hundred but aggressive fast bowling by Glenn McGrath and Jason Gillespie had the West Indies reeling at 80 for four at the end of the second day of the third Test at the Kensington Oval on Saturday. Australia completed their first innings at 490 all out and then savaged the home batting.

Azhar injured
Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin will not play in India8217;s last two league matches of the ongoing triangular limited over series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan because of a shoulder injury. Azharuddin has consulted sports medicine expert Dr Anand Joshi, who has adviced him rest, according to Board of Cricket Control in India BCCI today.

Anand played out a quick 25-move draw in rapid play to maintain his lead in the section with 7.0 points and kept his fourth position.
