Then, little master Sachin Tendulkar blazed to a quick-fire 53 in 54 balls to give India a score of 351 for 3 and also four batting bonus points.
India win Test
Spirited India rallied majestically from a two-goal deficit to defeat arch-rivals Pakistan 3-2 in a closely fought final tie of the nine-match hockey series in Lahore on Wednesday. Pakistan, however, won the double-leg series 6-3. Shane Warne and Mark Waugh should have been suspended for taking money from a bookmaker, according to the independent lawyer who investigated allegations of bribery and match-fixing in Australian cricket. Rob O8217;Regan said on Wednesday the Test pair should have been banned after the Australian Cricket Board ACB learnt they had sold information to an illegal Indian bookmaker during a limited overs tournament in Sri Lanka in 1994.
