Gymnastics camp
Shree Samartha Vyayam Mandir, Dadar, will conduct a gymnastics camp at the Sheth Mangaldas Varma Krida Bhavan, Shivaji Park from October 28 to November 4, between 7 am and 9 am daily. 200 campers boys and girls, five years and above, will be given basic training by State and National-level players. Fees for the camp is Rs 100. Forms are available at the venue from October 22, from 6.30- 7.30 pm.
Dist handball
Mumbai District handball championship will be held at GN Khalsa College, Matunga, from October 29-31. The Mumbai District team, for the forthcoming State championship at Solapur, will be selected during the tournament. A referees clinic will be held at KJ Somaiya College on October 23 at 10 am. All officials should report for the clinic.
Jr cycle races
Amateur Cycling Association, Mumbai Suburban District, will conduct races for boys and girls under-12 amp; under-16 on October 31. The winner in each group will be awarded a cycle. Cricket coaching
Khar Gymkhana will conduct cricket coaching from November 1 to April 15, for boys Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19. For entry forms and details contact 649 4744.
Thakre to lead
B Arunkumar Sports Club8217;s cricket team, led by Deepak Thakre, will visit Sri Lanka from October 23-30. During their stay, they will be playing four matches at Colombo and Kandy.
