Shoes for needy students

S.A.S. NAGAR, Feb 17: The local unit of Bharat Vikas Parisha distributed 70 pairs of shoes to the needy students of Phase-II Government Primary School, here today. P.K. Gautam who incurred all expenditure was honoured by Parishad president P.S. Ahluwalia by presenting a memento to him on the occasion.

Addressing students of the school, A. N. Sharma and K. R. Marwaha, secretary and joint secretary of the Parishad respectively, appealed to the society to adopt primary schools of the township for the uplift of the students from weaker sections of society.
