Earlier, the Knight Riders would have been kicking themselves for failing to step on the gas after winning the toss and electing to bat.

Barring a solid 48 from opener Salman Butt and an enterprising 31 from David Hussey, the rest of the batsmen could not stand up to the experience of Glenn McGrath and the nippy Yo Mahesh.
