Shinde dumps Maharashtra Leads campaign

Saying that he had decided to adhere to the CEC8217;s appeal not to misuse the taxpayers8217; money, Maharashtra CM Sushilkumar Shinde on Tuesday announced that he had called off the Rs 25 crore Maharashtra Leads campaign. The campaign was kicked off a week ago by Shinde as his government8217;s answer to NDA8217;s India Shining campaign and Rs 1.60 crore have already been spent on the campaign. 8216;8216;We have done our bit.
