Sheesh Mahal title for Indian Airlines

JSH Brothers’ Asad Ahmad and Kapoor opened the inning cautiously and put up 33 runs before Asad was run out. At 50, Kapoor was back in the pavillion scoring 11 runs. Kapoor’s exit saw JSH Brothers losing the next three wickets at regular intervals. Airlines’ Onkar Singh caputered three wickets for 33 while Sukhwinder Singh and Ashok Singh shared a wicket each conceding 38 and 24 runs, respectively.

Chasing a target of 213, Airlines started disastrously and lost few wickets quite early. But they soon found stability and rushed to target and won it by two wickets. Airlines skipper Vijay Dahiya bagged the Man-of-the-Tournament and the Best Batsman awards while and the Best Bowler and Best All-Rounder’s prizes went to Satish Durai of Apace XI and Gyanendra Pandey of JSH Brothers, respectively.

Carrom meet
Munawar Carrom Club will organise the first Ramesh Park Delhi Open carrom tournament under the auspices of Delhi Carrom Association from April 28 to May 2 at Gali No. 10, Ramesh Park, Laxmi Nagar.
