
It’s festival time in Sharjah. For 45 days beginning today, the ninth Sharjah Ramadan Festival (SRF) will combine commerce and culture through a series of displays and programmes.
According to a press release issued by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which along with the private sector and the government of Sharjah is involved with the festival, several top corporates are participating. These include Eppco, Etisalat, Gibca, Sharjah Cement Factory, Bank of Sharjah, National Paints and the Bukhatir Group.
Representing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H E Ahmed Mohammed Al Midfa said that the festival is a testimony to Sharjah’s status as the cultural capital of the Arab world.
