Seven held in lorry, godown theft case

CHENNAI, Jan 1: Seven persons have been arrested by a special team lead by Chengalpattu Circle DIG Balasubramaniam, for cases of theft from lorries and godowns in Madhavaram, Red Hills and Puzhal areas. Investigations revealed that the accused used to pose as cleaners and coolies and download objects from lorries to the godown with the connivance of the godown owner.
