Peshawar, Feb 20: Pakistan coach Shahnaz Sheikh has said that the long series, with no rest thrown in between is taking its toll. “We should have had a series of six matches, three each in either country. Our boys are really tired,” he said.

While the Pakistanis have had the opportunity to rest some key players, the Indians did have no such luxury, trailing 2-5 in the series.Sheikh said as the Indians had some injuries in the first match, the Pakistanis were also apprehensive.

Meanwhile, Baljit Singh Saini, the right-in, who took a hard hit on the right wrist, has been advised X-ray by the team doctor. The hard tackle on Saini was ignored by umpire Garth Proudfoot.
